Sonic Youth, Portland and Seattle concert – 1990 – Poster

Poster designed by Mike King, for two concert appearances in Portland and Seattle for Sonic Youth, supported by "two hot bands" Nirvana and STP. Sonic Youth were touring to promote their DGC/Geffen debut album, Goo, hence the use of Raymond Pettibon's album cover on the top of the poster. Nirvana had released Bleach the previous year and STP were an all-girl band featuring Julia Cafritz of Pussy Galore and Free Kitten.

Sonic Youth était en tournée pour promouvoir leur premier album chez DGC/Geffen, Goo, d'où l'utilisation de la pochette de l'album de Raymond Pettibon sur la partie supérieure de l'affiche. Nirvana avait sorti Bleach l'année précédente et STP était un groupe entièrement féminin avec Julia Cafritz de Pussy Galore et Free Kitten.
