A Clockwork Orange is a British-American futuristic film. The film describes the criminal action of the gang, then Alex's attempt at rehabilitation via controversial psychological conditioning. It is the vision of an urban city where young people have taken power that is presented to the viewer. The film is also a little futuristic, very violent, very psychological, with a funny and sometimes dramatic side. In this film, Stanley Kubrick seems to favor the unhealthy and disturbing climate that emerges, as well as the visceral side, rather than visual violence.
